2- 20-2010 San Antonio Texas . A. J. Catanzaro, The Teams West Lites rider, continued to impress the crowds as the 16 year old continues to improve with each event . San Antonio saw A. J. put in one of the most impressive rides of the season. After a mishap in the whoops put him near the end of the field in the 18 lap main event, A. J. put his head down and rode like a true champion as he made his way through the field ending the main event in third behind veteran Heath Voss and Cory Green while keeping his championship hopes alive.
2-27- 2010 Fresno California. A.J. Catanzaro put together his most impressive evening to date as he dominated the field throughout timed practice and the heat races. The 18 lap main event was all A.J as he nailed the holeshot and never looked back winning the main event by more than 8 seconds and pulling back into the lead for the AX West Lites championship. With the AX Lites West championship nearing the halfway point we are all looking forward to watching A.J. as he continues to impress and improve with every event.

TEAM GPF/Babbitt's Online update from Kansa City 1-30-2010
Team GPF/Babbitt's Online brings home another podium finish on Kansas City, MO this weekend. Riders AJ Catanzaro and Dano Aulseybrook rode strong all night long and were both ready and capable of capturing their first main event win. When the gate dropped for the main event both riders started inside the top 5 and quickly settled into 2nd and 3rd positions. The top four put on an amazing and exciting battle for the entire 18 lap race. AJ Catanzaro made the pass for the lead a few times but was never able to make it stick and had to settle for 2nd behind series veteran Tyler Bright. Dano Aulseybrook passed AJ at one point in the race but AJ got back around and Dano looked to be set for a solid third place finish but a mistake on the last lap cost him the position and Dano came home in 4th. AJ now leads the Lites West series points while Dano is competing in the East and sits 4th. Was a great weekend for the guys and team and we look forward to Tulsa, OK next weekend. Thanks to everyone who helps us out.

Grand Rapids Arena Cross Round 1 AMA National AX Series
Round one of the 2010 AX series is in the books and we are really happy about our start to the series. Both riders rode great all weekend and really showed that all the hard work over the past few months had payed off.
Dano Aulseybrook, who rode a few rounds for GPF last year, came out swinging on night one. After a mid pack start Dano moved his was thru the pack and by the white flag had caught the leader but ran out of laps but recorded his first podium finish with a 2nd place and gained some much needed confidence. On the second night Dano got off to a better start but quickly got bottled up in the whoops and went down. Dano put his head down and charged from last to 5th place by race end. Dano currently sits 2nd in the Lites East points and will be a favorite to win the rest of the series.
Team GPF's second rider is AJ Catanzaro. Grand Rapids was AJ's first ever expert race as he just raced B a little over a month ago at Mini o's so needless to say AJ was on a steep learning curve all weekend but proved he is ready to run with the big dogs. AJ came out hard on night one. Starting midpack he worked his was to the front and found himself in 3rd place with a few laps to go. Nerves got the best of him and AJ pumped up a little. He gave up 3rd spot to Tyler Bright but was able to hang on for a solid 4th place. On night two AJ started midpack again but worked his way up quickly to 4th. AJ got into a battle with Cory Green for a few laps when Cory ran it in on AJ causing both riders to go down. AJ remounted in nearly last but managed to pass a few guys and work his way up to 12th. AJ is signed up for Lites West points which doesn't start for a few weeks so he can use these next few rounds to get some much needed experience.
It was a great first weekend for Team GPF and I can't thank all of you enough for your support in making this season happen. The bikes are awesome and we look forward to the rest of the season.

Medagelia Takes West Lites Title
Tyler Medagelia estabilished himself early in the AX Lites West Championship and after a near night ending crash in Saturday In Reno got up and made the most of the race and hung on to win the AMA National AX Lites West Championship. Only four points seperated him from Tiger Lacey at the end of night with Lacey finishing 2nd to Medagelia's 10th. Although upset with himself for the mistake which nearly cost him his title Tyler was more than excited to be holding on to the number one plate. "A big thanks has to go out to everyone who worked hard to get me here Tyler said, Josh Woods and GPF have really put together a great program for up and coming riders and I am glad that I was able to deliver to them their second number one plate. Thanks Todd at TLR Performance, Factory Connection Suspension, Decal Works, Yoshimura Devol Engineering, Dunlop, SDG, Vortex, K&N, DP Brakes, Motorex, Boyesen, and especially Eddie Babbitt at Babbitt's Online. I will be finishing out the AX season and really working on that AX class, But first with the help of GPF and Babbitt's I will be racing the Daytona SX next weekend and after the AX season they are going to help me get to the Toronto SX. Thanks again

Team GPF/Babbitt's Heading to Reno
After a confusing restart in the Lites program at Sacramento California Saturday night. Tyler Medagelia Pushed hard to regain the point position after a less than perfect re-start which had him in 4th with just six laps remaining in the main event. Medagelia was forced to settle for second on the night but still retained the points lead by seven points over Cory Green headed into the last two events of the Lites West series next weekend in Reno Nevada. The restart was called for on the 12th lap while an injured rider was helped off the track.
This should make the racing real interesting at Reno said Josh Woods Team manager for GPF/Babbitt's Online. Our bikes have really been working good. Tyler is very focused and his confidence gets better each week as he is really getting comfortable with Arenacross. He's a bit frustrated with his AX class performance but he has proven he has the speed he just needs to figure out a few more things. We are looking forward to making the swing back East as the series begins to wind down.
Other notable riders from GPF to Keep an eye on for the remainder of the Season are, Dave Ginolfi the current points lead for East Lites championship. Kyle Brown currently returning from injury and looking forward to joining everyone in Pennsylvania , also Dano Aulseybrook might possibly be able to complete the series after his great start to the year Dano was forced to sit out the last few weeks with a wrist injury.
