A. J. Catanzaro, The Teams West Lites rider, continued to impress the crowds as the 16 year old continues to improve with each event . San Antonio saw A. J. put in one of the most impressive rides of the season. After a mishap in the whoops put him near the end of the field in the 18 lap main event, A. J. put his head down and rode like a true champion as he made his way through the field ending the main event in third behind veteran Heath Voss and Cory Green while keeping his championship hopes alive.

2-27- 2010 Fresno California. A.J. Catanzaro put together his most impressive evening to date as he dominated the field throughout timed practice and the heat races. The 18 lap main event was all A.J as he nailed the holeshot and never looked back winning the main event by more than 8 seconds and pulling back into the lead for the AX West Lites championship. With the AX Lites West championship nearing the halfway point we are all looking forward to watching A.J. as he continues to impress and improve with every event.

TEAM GPF/Babbitt's Online update from Kansa City 1-30-2010

Team GPF/Babbitt's Online brings home another podium finish on Kansas City, MO this weekend. Riders AJ Catanzaro and Dano Aulseybrook rode strong all night long and were both ready and capable of capturing their first main event win. When the gate dropped for the main event both riders started inside the top 5 and quickly settled into 2nd and 3rd positions. The top four put on an amazing and exciting battle for the entire 18 lap race. AJ Catanzaro made the pass for the lead a few times but was never able to make it stick and had to settle for 2nd behind series veteran Tyler Bright. Dano Aulseybrook passed AJ at one point in the race but AJ got back around and Dano looked to be set for a solid third place finish but a mistake on the last lap cost him the position and Dano came home in 4th. AJ now leads the Lites West series points while Dano is competing in the East and sits 4th. Was a great weekend for the guys and team and we look forward to Tulsa, OK next weekend. Both riders rode great all weekend and really showed that all the hard work over the past few months had payed off.

Dano Aulseybrook, who rode a few rounds for GPF last year, came out swinging on night one. After a mid pack start Dano moved his was thru the pack and by the white flag had caught the leader but ran out of laps but recorded his first podium finish with a 2nd place and gained some much needed confidence. On the second night Dano got off to a better start but quickly got bottled up in the whoops and went down. Dano put his head down and charged from last to 5th place by race end. Dano currently sits 2nd in the Lites East points and will be a favorite to win the rest of the series.

Team GPF's second rider is AJ Catanzaro. Grand Rapids was AJ's first ever expert race as he just raced B a little over a month ago at Mini o's so needless to say AJ was on a steep learning curve all weekend but proved he is ready to run with the big dogs. AJ came out hard on night one. Starting midpack he worked his was to the front and found himself in 3rd place with a few laps to go. Nerves got the best of him and AJ pumped up a little. He gave up 3rd spot to Tyler Bright but was able to hang on for a solid 4th place. On night two AJ started midpack again but worked his way up quickly to 4th. AJ got into a battle with Cory Green for a few laps when Cory ran it in on AJ causing both riders to go down. AJ remounted in nearly last but managed to pass a few guys and work his way up to 12th. AJ is signed up for Lites West points which doesn't start for a few weeks so he can use these next few rounds to get some much needed experience.

It was a great first weekend for Team GPF and I can't thank all of you enough for your support in making this season happen. The bikes are awesome and we look forward to the rest of the season.

-Josh Woods

Team GPF/Babbitt's Online 2010 AX Team

Merry Christmas

Team GPF/Babbitt's eagerly awaits the opening round at Grand Rapids Mi. Thanks again

Team GPF/Babbitt's Heading to Reno

After a confusing restart in the Lites program at Sacramento California Saturday night. Tyler Medagelia Pushed hard to regain the point position after a less than perfect re-start which had him in 4th with just six laps remaining in the main event. Medagelia was forced to settle for second on the night but still retained the points lead by seven points over Cory Green headed into the last two events of the Lites West series next weekend in Reno Nevada. The restart was called for on the 12th lap while an injured rider was helped off the track.

This should make the racing real interesting at Reno said Josh Woods Team manager for GPF/Babbitt's Online. Our bikes have really been working good. Tyler is very focused and his confidence gets better each week as he is really getting comfortable with Arenacross. He's a bit frustrated with his AX class performance but he has proven he has the speed he just needs to figure out a few more things. We are looking forward to making the swing back East as the series begins to wind down.

Other notable riders from GPF to Keep an eye on for the remainder of the Season are, Dave Ginolfi the current points lead for East Lites championship. Kyle Brown currently returning from injury and looking forward to joining everyone in Pennsylvania , also Dano Aulseybrook might possibly be able to complete the series after his great start to the year Dano was forced to sit out the last few weeks with a wrist injury.

Medaglia and GPF Attack Fresno

Fresno California 2-14-2009

Tyler Medaglia was the lone Team GPF/Babbitt's Online rider at Fresno Ca. and once again served up the fastest laps of the night. Greensboro N. C. was the second AX event For Medagelia and once again he set fast lap time in both the AX and the AX lites classes. His Starts were a major improvement from the previous week thanks to Todd Lachance at TLR Performance and Josh Woods personal coaching techniques. Medagelia was a decisive winner in the AX lite class with more than a half lap lead at the checker flag. Tyler posted the fastest lap of the night in qualifing in both the AX and the AX lites classes. And second fastest Sat. night. and ended up 5th Lites and 12th AX his very first night racing arena Cross. Saturday was a bit disapointing after a first turn pile up in the Lites class had Tyler struggling to get back in the groove and finishing 10th in the Lites . But backed that up with a 8th in the AX class.

Dano Aulseybrook also has begun to figure things out, and for the first time this season qualified solidly for both the AX and the AX lites class on Saturday Night while turning more than a few heads, with a 5th in lites and a 13th in the demanding AX class. We are looking forward to helping Dano make this transisition from the amatuer MX to Arena Cross and beyond make sure to keep and eye on 841.

Kyle Brown also made Louisville his return to racing after a broken leg at the first round in Desmoines. Kyle's times for qualifing were good big the injured leg is just real sore right now and a decision was made to sit out both nights and work on a strong return next week at north Carolina. for dates and times near you ck out www.arenacross.com

Team GPF /Babbitt's Online Prepares for Dayton One Night Stand

Team GPF/ babbitt's Online will head into Dayton minus Shane Sewell, Sewell's outstanding performance so far this year has earned him a spot on the Monster Energy Kawasaki Team for the remainder of the series. The Team will be introducing a new rider sometime next week and he will be filling in for Sewell starting at the next round in Louisville Kentucky. Check back soon for Dayton Results.

Grand Rapids Arena Cross

Shane Sewell #16 AX

Team GPF/Babbitt's Online Ontrack for 2009 The official AX season kicked off in Grand Rapids and Team GPF Riders made a great opening statement and showed they will be a factor in the remainder of the series. With our second season of AMA Arena Cross now behind us it is time to thank everyone involved with helping us to become a minor success story within the Arena Cross community. Our Teams Goals have been and will continue to be to graduate talented, hard working young athletes up through the current AMA advancement system so that they may one day fulfill their dreams of SX and MX stardom. Or to possibly make their mark as one of the top Arena Cross racers in the county.

When the AX season kicked off in Des Moines, Iowa in November our goals were to have Shane Sewell pursue the AX Lites North title, while Dave Ginolfi would concentrate on the AX Lites East. Both riders would also be competing in the AX class on selected occasions. On some weekends this also involved splitting the riders and sending them to different locations as the East and North Devisions raced in different locations on three separate occasions. With the racing being as close as any that i have seen, it required a level of dependability from our equipment that could only be delivered with the help of suppliers such as yourselves. With our two main riders Shane and Dave, we did not experience one equipment failure. Also with the level of commitment that each of you gave us, it allowed us to be able to showcase your products in a manor that I considered to be first class.

We have just completed then season in Green Bay with one our best efforts yet as Shane Sewell was crowned AMA North Lites Champion after a decisive win on Fri night followed by a great ride on Sat to claim the runner up spot and overall championship.

Dave Ginolfi was also a great asset and his determination throughout the season gave him a shot at the East Lites Division that went down to the last race. Dave actually lead the final event but with the points spread just a little to big and a couple of small mistakes he had to settle for 2nd O/A in the East Lites Division.

Both of these riders also let it be know that their intentions to move up to race the AX class in the future will also be successful as their performances in that class all season gave them enough points to allow them to enter for AMA Pro National SX and AMA Pro Outdoor.

Kyle Tobin also became a part of our program late in the season and although it was his fist attempt at AX, several top five and podium finishes indicate he has skills that could carry him into a future in AX. We look forward to helping him in the future if AX is what he would like to do.

All three of these riders will be continuing there efforts as they will be finishing up the season by competing in the AMA East SX lites classes where they have already began to establish themselves. Not only has Shane Sewell qualified for the first two SX events he has ever entered, his eighth place finish at Daytona indicates he not only has the determination in the face of adversity but also his equipment was up to the task and that is a direct reflection on each and every one of you.

Team GPF /Babbitts Online was very happy to continue our relationships with great supporters such as yourself and also to begin new relationships with others. We sincerely hope that you have all found our efforts to be as rewarding for you as they have been for Team GPF/Babbitts Online and we look forward to working with you as we continue to grow. For a better look at how the AX season went for GPF please don't miss some of the televised events on Speed Channel.

Sun 3-23-08 Rockford Ill 6pm ET
Sun 3-30-08 Grand Rapids 6Ppm ET
Sun 4-6-08 Grand Rapids 6pm ET night 2
Sun 4-13-08 Behind the Scenes 4pm ET
Sun 4-13-08 Youngstown Ohio 5pm ET
Sun 4-20-08 Youngstown Ohio 12pm ET night 2
Sun 4-20-08 Sacremento Ca 12 pm ET
Sun 5-4-08 Green Bay Wi. 5pm ET
Sun 5-11-08 Green Bay Wi. 4pm ET
Sun 5-11-08 Season Review 5pm ET
